Default Fuel coming out of tuning Pipe??

I was running my Losi 8ight at the track last night and the first 3 tanks it ran fine. But then I let it kewl a bit and I couldn't get it freaking started, so I turned it over on its side for some reason and all this fuel started coming out of the tuning pipe?? Why did this happen??

thanks!!

well it is possiby some oil and fuel that has been sitting on the bottom of the engine, just put the buggy on the starter box and place the glow plug in burn all that nitro out and then refuel and start it up, should be fine, prime the engine so that the plug has somthing to ignite and it ll start the engine right away. have fun and dont stop asking. good way to be in the know and make sure its the right info...but what ive said im sure you ll be ok.

Is it a new engine? if so it may be still too rich with breakin settings.I've seen this when doing breakin

Well you have pressure tube going from pipe to tank right ? So there's your path for fuel

There is nothing wrong with your pipe or engine. You are just a little rich. Also the oil content of your fuel is a little high. Just retune.

Just as a rule of thumb I will tilt my buggy to the left just to drain out any oil/fuel out of the pipe after each tank. Since I'm new I didn't realized how much can accumulate in there with a new engine aftern it's been run rich for a bit.

If none of this advice helps, I remember reading somewhere recently that technically the exhaust tip of your pipe should point down just a bit to allow it to drain. We're just talking a couple of degrees past level. Don't go overboard here or you will snap it right off when you land. I've never heard this before but if you have it aimed up a few degrees it COULD be your problem. I'd try everything else I could think of first though.

The only time I had an engine do a lot out the pipe is when it was completely worn out. But then again it was so worn that it wouldn't really start - it would just pump raw fuel through it!
