Default Upgrade path

I have a MBX5. I have most of the parts needed to put the R front on it. Should I finish changing it over to the R or wait and get a MBX6? I wish Mugen would do a upgrade/trade in deal. What would you do?

I would put the R parts on, run it till the MBX6 came out, and switch.

The 2 important parts are the hinge pin holders and the ackerman... and either dremel your hubs for more steering throw, or buy the R ones. The extra droop won't do much for you in most cases, so I wouldn't spend the money on the shocks, shock towers, and upper arms.

The MBX5 is a great buggy... it is just a little TOO stable, pushes a bit. It it tough, reliable, easy to get parts for, easy to drive. Probably THE best beginner buggy ever made.

the mugen 6 is supposed to be out at the end of next month in japan, which probably means october-november we should be seeing it here, it depends how much you are gonna have to invest to change the car over, you need the shock towers, the shocks, and a few other things, once the 6 comes out are you gonna just drop the 5 like a bad habit? or gonna stick it out for a while because you changed it, if you feel like you are gonna buy a 6 when it comes out, i would just live with the way it is and just save the money for the 6 it looks like its gonna be a solid car, i cant wait to get my hands on one

To get just the parts Domit talked about its 80 bucks. I have thought of selling it and get a RC8 or 8ight. Then when ever the 6 gets to the US sell it and get the 6.
