Default how do you keep your spur gear from geting destroyed alot

my new tmaxx 3.3 has gone through 2 spur gears already and i have had it for about 3 weeks now i mostly have jumped it but i got some new springs there black i guess there the toughest ones idk just want to know how to have my spur gears last long thanks

get a truggy and that problem will go away

make sure you are setting your mesh correctly, it makes a world of difference

IF you have the gear mesh correct then I would do these things next:

1) Stop landing off jumps while still on throttle

2) Loosen slipper clutch nut up about 1/2-3/4 turn

RRP slipper is a lot more forgiving than stock one. But you'll still have to set mesh correctly even with that one. Use piece of paper like it says and recheck it after you tighten it down - sometimes mesh will change when motor mounts are tigthened.
