Default HITEC 7955 OR JR9100T

They both spec out pretty equal. Which one would you choose and why?

None of the above.

Futaba digitals for longevity.

Why not include the JR 8711?
403 oz torque
0.15 speed

If just the above 2?

I would say 7955 (the newer version of the famous 5955)

Hitec has great customer service but the JR 3 yr warranty is sure nice!

I haven't tried the brushless yet but the standard digitals are going on a couple seasons now without a failure. Hitecs on the other hand lasted all of 1 race. Maybe I just had a dud but I will never buy another one.

I've got both the 9100t and the 9100s in my buggy..... Awesome servos, great customer service and a 3 year warranty.... Shows the faith that JR have in their product if they are prepared to guarentee it for that long!

My $0.02

I have owned both and have had no problems with either. The 3 year warranty on the JR is great and so is their service....Hitec's service is also great. I'd find the best deal on either one and go with that.....BTW, I have a 9100T for sale

+2 I have one of these and I love it! Buy one and you wont regret it.

I had futaba brushless servos and I got rid of them. I had great luck with JR servos so I always stuck with them till a friend encouraged me to run futaba brushless. I got 2 weekends out of my futaba brushless before I the only plastic gear inside stripped out. Its cheap to replace the gear but who wants to be not finishing races because futaba's top dollar servos have 1 plastic gear.

I myself have just put a JR9100T in the throttle of my 8ight T and it does the job perfectly. It is an amazing servo.

And i might add, if you do have a problem with a JR servo, they customer support is great and I would reccommend them to anyone
