Default Buggy needs engine, please help

Hey guys, my RC8 needs a new engine. I already have two pipes, JP2,JP3. My options at my LHS are as follows. Novarossi 367, comes with 5 plugs, three carb restrictors and a pipe (no header). O.S. V-spec, RB S7 with 2045 header/pipe combo. or O.S. based ninja. what would you guys do? I know I have more selection online, but I would rather buy from LHS.

I probably should have mentioned that I am coming off a V-Spec engine. I got only 5 gallons through it. I am a little dissapointed that I got what I consider such little use out of it. I would certainly consider buying another one, as it ran great. At about the three gallon mark, I would have to put a plug in it every race day.

I agree on the S7. V-leaks are a piece of chit, I mean V-spec

+3 on the S7, and that motor really comes alive with the 2045 pipe!

i would stay away from the 367, that is the older one that came with the pipe, they had alot of issues with those, the vspecs are good, i just started running the os speed now, i sell them for 399.95 on ebay under cjm-recycling, the rb s7 i havent tried, i have run the c6 in the past and liked it, rb's are novarossi based engines they seem to hold up pretty good

Another option... purchase a new piston, rod, and sleeve for your V-Spec for about $100. (assuming the bearings are still good.) NO "high end" engine but the OS can be rebuilt that cheap!
