Questions?? nitro rustler throttle response problem

i have a nitro rustler and for some reason when i start it up cold it runs fine then when it heats up it has no power on the bottom end but then when it gets going a little (top end) it takes off like crazy what would make this happen and how can i fix it. if any one has any ideas please let me know thank you

i am sorry it not that i just doesn't go fas it sounds like the motor is bouging down and it does that for a little then it takes off i think something is not tunned right but i am new to the rc world and i am not sure what is not tunned and the best way to fix it

Most likely it's a little lean. Run it and when it starts to get sluggish richen it up a bit and see if it improves. You might need to richen the low end needle a bit too.

Also it could be overheating.

Clutch problems could cause this as well.

i was just running it to try to tune it to get it to stop the hesitation and now it just shuts off sometimes when i get on it and other times when i get off the throttle now what could be wrong with it

I would reset the needles back to factory and start tuning all over.

High speed needle 4 turns out from closed
Low speed needle flush or 1.5-1.75 turns out from closed
Idle gap (slide valve) .7mm-1mm
