It depends, in a drag race it would stomp all over it, in a demolition derby it would get destroyed on a race track it would be about par.

QUICK EVERYONE JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON OF THE CAR THEY OWN

oh wait I got beat to the punch. Seriously i don't think it matters. I bought an RC8 because I like carbon fiber and I think the stock RC8 wing looks cooler than the 8IGHT wing. Seriously. That was the extent of my comparison. But they are both good cars, some each have their ups and downs, I don't think there is a real "winner" between the two. If you really care buy an 808 or wait for the MP9

I bought an 8ight pro kit because i love the narrow chassis design, the body is the coolest looking of all and once you get to know all the littlke tricks the car is very easy to strip down the main components and clean, also if you keep all the plastic parts on it and don't upgrade to all the alu braces and stuff its very light, ive had zero problems with the buggy itself, with the V-spec i bought however, its been nothing but problems.

Oh yea and be gentle with the tank lid, it can develop a leak if your rough with it.

the losi is good if you are adam drake or mike truhe, the rc8 is the best handling car i have driven, but have had alot of issues with fuel tanks, havent had any durability issues other then the fuel tank, rc8 will be a easier and more consistant car for the average driver, but the fuel tank issue is the reason i am switching brands

Switching brands isn't going to help, the Losi's have fuel tank issues too.

im not switching losi, i had over 10 tanks replaced by the factory on my rc8 all of them with internal air leaks, i never broke a tank, they would just start leaking after a few tanks on the track, basically would start leaning the engine out during the race, wasnt to good for the engine, factory kept replacing the tanks but didnt offer any compensation for the engines that were taken out by the tanks, im gonna switch to one of the traditional 1/8th scale brands like mugen or kyosho
