Default EB Mods V-Spec Pistion and Sleeve

Does anyone know if EB Mods sells the piston and sleeve combo for the V-Spec or would i have to buy a P/S and send it into Ed for the mod?

The EB MODS V spec P/S are no longer available.. A stock P/S will work fine..

But can I still buy the stock P/S and have Ed at EB do the mod to it?

no, he is no longer doing V Specs... sorry! Try an Ex Tech. I made the switch, and like them way better.

OS screwed him over so I doubt he will touch it. The took all his hard work and copied it to make the OS speed and left him in the cold! Nice huh.

+1 on the Extech. FAR superior to the v spec. And Ed REALLY works his magic on em.

So your saying a OS Speed is a copy of a EB Mods V-Spec ? or did ED develop the Speed for OS ? I am not trying to cause a fight, i am legitimately curious, hearing stuff like that really pisses me off, as i have had something very similar happen to me in the past...

Just get a stock P/S. EB never did much modding
on the sleeve anyway. Mass production mods aren't
much. Maximo's Clocked motors are a work of art com-
paired to a EB Modded motor.

I spent a year setting up a business, purchasing equipment/software as well as programming a library of logo's... once the dust settled I cut got out of the loop....Without my skills the whole project would never have happened.... Its more complicated then i can get into on a RC car forum.... either way dirty business practices really piss me off and cost me both time and money...... ethics and honesty are two things that are greatly undervalued in todays world and its an absolute shame........ I may take shots at other modders when it comes to engines and mods ( but it goes both ways as well, i get as good as I give) , but I never like hearing of someone getting ripped off of their hard work and ideas.....to me that is not cool at all...

Well Got an email from him and he said the crank was balanced. I did see silicon fiiling but I really dont know what else he did with it. Looks pretty similar with the crank of a standard vspec other than it is silicon filled and I think the opening is bigger. Ceramic Bearing Front and rear. Lightened Rod and the back plate is shaved of to give more case volume.

Piston and sleeve is similar with the standard vspec. His engine is a lot smoother than the standard. Can say much on the power cause I broke mine in less than a gallon.

I'm assuming though that Ed did do some work on the ports on the sleeve. According to his website though it looks as though he still does the V-spec, but more or less you send him your engine and $150.
