There just might be another 1/8 class at racing events next year. Or they'll just make everyone run together if there's a low turnout.

Which really, why would u get a new car if your old one is fine
I won't, unless parts start to get hard to get for the current 8ight

LOL. That's a nice touch with the "8" center diff top plate. I didn't notice that on losi's website, or on neobuggy, or radiocontrol zone.

Wow, I think that is an excellent idea from Losi. There is no reason they should not be capitalizing on this part of the market. I might have to get one just to see how they work. I think the motor mount looks particularly interesting. Thanks for the info!

just got my losi 8 today...and i had it runnin in less then 20 mins. of course it was already factory assembled. runnin a modded platinum .21..runs at 150...with a king headz head....and THIS BUGGY ROLLS. handles way better then my past carz...kyosho..xray..jammin..

A+ on losi and for a car thats 3 years old...why get a new one when the older version is still "suckin gas and hallin a$$" around all the competition? CIRCLES.

You know runn'n a motor at a temp that low will wear it out faster than running it a bit hot. I'd rather run 250 than 150.

Funny, I know a factory driver that told me about it a few weeks ago. I was joking with him and said "What are they going to change? Move the engine back and to the left?" He said its not a totally new car but refined and an easier car to drive with better quality.

Most places let the electric conversions run with the nitros if there aren't enough conversions for a seperate class. All we do is take a simulated pit stop. I did a 30 minute A-Main with a battery swap. Time it took is about the same as coming in for several pit stops.

By the way, these "slot cars" will destroy a nitro in a straight line race at half throttle. I don't care how modded your engine is or what displacement. It ain't even close. Twice the acceleration and can clear jumps nitros can only dream about.

Don't knock it till you try it. It is the wave of the future and I am glad Losi is stepping up to the plate.
