Default Pipe for Ninja jx.21

I have been running a TTR2035 pipe on my ninja which has about a gallon on it. To be honest I'm not sure this is the right pipe as I have been running slightly rich but and starting to race tune it and the last track was way to small to really feel the whole power band. Would a 053 or 086 pipe work well with this motor? Thanks

I ran basically a 053 on mine and it was really smooth. The ideal pipe would be the ninja pipe aka os2060. The ttr pipe is supposed to be awesome on the Vspec so I would figure it would be good on this as well. I just put on an old Ninja FLS pipe with short header and will find out this weekend how it does.

A friend and i have been running the os 2060 os pipe with great results. The best thing has been the 11min+ runtime.

I have tested the Jp-3 the jp-4 and the 086
JP-4 good top end power could get better fuel mileage
086 good power makes tuning a little more finicky
jp-3 best pipe I ran with it, tune hold ALL DAY tons of rip not as much top end as the jp-4 but better fuel mileage. definitly my choice,
havent ran any of the OS pipes although they make sence to run with this motor I cant speak for them as I havent run one myself.
hope this helps

There are many people that love the 2035 on there OS engines. Ryan Maifield is a example. The TTR/AE 2035 or OS 2060/Ninja 2042(2060SC) are my recommendations.

katjim00,
i'm intending to get the JX21..
how did the JX21 do with the older Ninja FLS pipe?
I'm thinking of the same combo,
either that or the EB Mods pipe to go with the JX21.

I've both the FLS and EB pipe, and i don't want to get another pipe for the JX.
If i'm not wrong, Savoya used the FLS pipe with his JX. there must be a reason for it eh?
Likewise in ExtremeRC mag Jan09 they tested the MBX6 with the JX21/FLS combo..

comments anyone?
