scale racing aside from the fact that mod class touring cars' scale speed would be the equivalent of 350+ Miles per hour scale speed.

i'm kidding. I saw a traxxas slash truck race at my track and it looked awesome. I can only imagine how cool a nitro version would be.

SC8 will eat the Slayer alive. Slayer is just a Revo with shorter control arms. We know the SC8 is based off the truggy. But I think SC8 has a lower center gravity better handling. Beside Revo's are weak ate too many of them with a Savage

1/5th scale racers have been using these to groove onroad tires for years.

I hope the there's a good turn out for this class aswell. A spec class would be pretty cool.

Probably because Traxxas is know for their innovative RTR kits while AE is known for earning 22 IFMAR World Championships while Racing since the late 60's.

I love the look of these, but i cant possible say this will be the next big thing.

You have to take into fact that Americans aren't spending as much as they once were. Look at the CRT .5, that was suppose to be the next big thing. It died out pretty fast. Now, once again its a new car, for a new class, that will have all new rules. I see it being big for a few months, but i don't see 8th buggy going anywhere. Hopefully 8th truggy will pick back up with the rc8t released.
