Will rc8 diffs fit the Mugen mbx5r? I want to get away from the straight teeth that the mugen uses.

Use the truggy gears. I use kyosho ST-RR diffs in my Cen Matrix buggy and truggy. Those have the helical/spiral cut ring and pinion gears.

I know the center diff is a drop in as I had to use it in my R car,gotta run a bigger CB though.I dont rember if the front/rear or pinions will fit.Next time I pull the car apart I might try it as zero problems with RC8 diffs so far.Complete AE diffs can be had real cheap on the net.

Alot of Kyosho truggy guys use the Hot Bodies gears for durability. Dont know ifthe will fit the buggy in question.
