Futaba brushless servos any good?
#2
I'm actually selling all my JR's and going with the bls 351 & bls352. I have the bls 351 in my Truggy now and it's awesome. super smooth! I plan on getting a few more.

They are great servos. I used 2 BL-451s in my 8ight and 808. Plenty of power for both duties in the buggies. I would not use a 451 for steering in a truggy however. They are VERY precise, center great, which I notice on my TC car, and quick enough, yet not too quick to make the car feel overly twitchy like the .06 second JR 9000S and 9100S.

All I am using now in my nitro and some o my electrics are the brushless servos.
The BL451's in my buggy have 7 gallons on them and they are still puhing strong.

I bought the BLS351 for steering in the 808 and, after about two races, twitches worse than Micheal J. Fox. Still strong and reliable, but on the box, it is seriously annoying. Should i send it back to Futaba? Is this normal for these servos?

Yes send it back! It's prob has a bad case, and it's trying to center itself all day. If you ever owned a JR you know what I'm saying. lol

Also loosen the four case screws and re-tighten in x pattern, like you were trying to keep a top-deck from tweaking.
That usually fixes mine, I use the futaba servo grease.
