Default racing t-maxx 2.5

i have a tmaxx 2.5 that i want to set up more for racing than bashing. so i'm looking for any recomendations for losing ome weight or good parts to replace. i have a new racing pipe and radio system but thats it.

Put on the forward only conversion. It saves alot of rotating weight. also put on some race tires like bow ties or crimefighter truggy tires on ofna full offset 17mm rims. Also put on HPI hexes, nuts, and pins or OFNA hexes. The hpi ones are cheaper but not quite as nice as the OFNA ones. The best hopup is practice though.
