Default std or turbo

I am looking at the 2 Nova motors with the purple heads. The standard is this one RX21P5XS.... this is the turbo one. RX21P5XST

Thanks

I have no idea what the difference is? Does one have better low end Perfomance or top end? I am lost. Does one last longer or set up easier.???

Thanks

They are the same except for the plugs they use.

I prefer turbos.

the turbo will make a little more power, prolly not noticeable, however will require a bit finer tune...plugs are also more expensive.

id recommend the P5XS

Default Thanks

I am just now getting my RC 8 together. Body painted, servos installed, update installed... All i need is my motor. I did order the cheaper nova 3 port and jp4 pipe that will come intomorrow.

I always want a backup but never seem to use it.

first, you can only use turbo plugs in an engine with turbohead insert
it's not the same screwthread
even OS and nova turbo plugs have slightly other threading
cheaper engines come mostly with a standard plug insert...

turbo plugs will give better performances mostly high speed
but standard is easier to find the right set-up
and it stays stable enough with less fuzzing

if I can choose , I take the one with standard plug...
