Severe Glitching on Hyper 8.5pro
Ok before I explain whats going on heres what I have.
Hyper 8.5 pro pretty much stock
Ace DS1313 servo for throttle
Ace DS1015 servo for steering with a servo extension wire
Spektrum receiver
2600mah NIMH 5 cell battery
voltage meter
basic switch for charging and turning the receiver on and off.
Now heres what happens, when starting the buggy I noticed that when I hit the throttle or brake the servo for throttle goes crazy and starts glitching and when I let go it cant center, even the steering sometimes starts acting up, and sometimes it gets to the point where I lose all controle of the servos.
now today at the track I threw caution to the wind when the servos suddenly started working and not glitching at all and ran a tank through the engine without a single problem.
now when the servos start glitching my receiver's green light starts flashing almost like it is picking up interference or losing power.
I had my battery charged through a good charger and it still did it.
only thing I can think of is a bad battery but the battery on the voltage meter under load shows a full 6v...
any ideas?

1) Could be a bad switch.
2) Re-bind the TX/RX
3) Check your wires for frayed wires- battery pack AND servos.

Ok I am lost.
I have a great charger now and I charged the battery properly.
and when ever I turn on the electronics sometimes it works fine, sometimes the led on the specktrum receiver starts blinking and the servos have a mind of their own.
its mainly the throttle servo that glitches but the steering does a little too.
this receiver hasnt been used for more than a few hours total, and I never had this issue on the revo.
the transmitter has full batteries and I already re-binded the receiver and transmitter.

Is it doing this while sitting on the starter box? Is the glow igniter still attached while all this is going on?
Try ditching the volt watch. I've seen them cause problems in rare instances.

anyone know if the 2500mah stickman batteries found on amainhobbies are any good?
I have a 2600mah battery I bought from onlybatterypacks.com and it false peaks with in minutes of charging...
I charged it at 0.3A and put the Peak detect at 3mV/C and it false peaks within 30min and with like 90-150mah in it.

Dude the Ready 1600 Hump Packs should be ample enough for the job.
I run the same servo's as you and have no problems racing a 45 min main with a 3 minute warm up and usually start warming up 5 mins before that. So they're going for like nearly an hour.
