from the top of my mind I can suggest a z-brace to avoid excessive chassis flex and big bore shocks.

you need z-brace, front and rear cnc brace this is critical.
then rear wing stay posts in cnc. Hinge pin set also very important. That should be all.

screw the Z brace and get a KH motor mount...it basically does the same thing as the Z brace but makes the motor Easily removable with 4 screw's.......U NEEED chassy braces if its the RTR...those stock units tend to fail pretty easily.....and if can find a CF or Alum steering top plate that would also be a good investment......basically u want most of the Pro parts....but since your starting with nothing...u can go with the Good parts like KH toe plates and maby some KH tower's down the road....here's a link to a bunch of parts and hop ups.

parts in general

KH stuff i HIGHLY reccomend.

I would suggest a pro chassis as well as the alum braces and z brace. I put the z brace and alum chassis braces on my rtr still had enough flex to bend the front center drive shaft. Runnin pro chassis now with braces and z brace no problems .

Default take out those plastic bushings

in the steering and brake areas there are plastic bushings they break fast or wear down fast, put some bearings in there
