It looks to be 1/8 scale based... excellent!!


This has been done before... remember "original" Kyosho 1/8 scale truck? Hopefully this will take off.

Now this is just me making scatterbrained wishes...but how cool would it be to see a solid rear axle and 4-link suspension between those bedsides?

I've thought about this before, and performance aside the only thing really keeping someone from garage-engineering a rear axle in a 1/8th Buggy is you don't have anywhere to mount the rear shocks to the chassis. But the SC8 definitely appears to have a bedcage in it, and a fairly sturdy one at that.

Well at the rate they're degenerating into flame threads over how to legitimately race one of these things, I think we need all we can get

I couldn't tell you how to race them, but I'd assume those European style 1/8th offroad tracks would be good. The motocrossy ones we have in North America may be too extreme. Purely speculation.

They would look wicked, though. 10 of those things at once. Especially if it were spec. racing. Same motor, etc.
