Very cool vids i posted them on another forum and we were trying to figure out what it would take to get a production like the neo race. That is the best race vid I have seen,

Those guys do a good job. I've downloaded a ton of those episodes including the previous Neo Invitational. But this year was definitely a little more exciting. The race commentator does a damn good job considering that r/c racing isn't really his specialty. I guess he works the American Le Mans series normally..

3x TV Quality cameras (Minimum 3 chip)

2x Tripods

2x Quality cameramen (1x Hendheld 1x Mounted)

1x Commentator

Audio equipment at least for commentator. Preferably also one mic high up and over the venue.

A computer with a large hard drive and a good editing suite plus someone with editing skills.

Or your own media production company

These videos are very well done top to bottom. It's cool to see a company out there (I believe they are HPI's crew - at least for the NEO race, correct me if i am wrong.) doing this, it's a great thing for the sport.

Gutted for Darren Bloomfield taking a crack at Drake again... also saw him at the Novarossi GP in the UK up against him, and with a great lead before mechanical problems let Drake take over and own the event.

BTW i am on the wall on the right before the step in the corner freezing my arse off, that was one long cold weekend... really cool track and a great event.

HI Guys, thanks for the positive feedback!

First off you're right John our Commentator is the guy who does the ALMS (and loads of other full sized racing)

We filmed the Neo event with 2 manned "broadcast quality cameras" and 2 pretty standard camcorders fixed mounted.

We do have a professional editor and suite and this was all done on Final Cut on a Mac.

Costs in real terms including time and the editing was about 2500 ($5000)

- and yes we are available for hire

Macs and final cut, that's the way to roll

You guys going to be at the Novarossi GP in the UK?
