I wanted to give you all a final update since everyone is so helpful.

Sent the engine in to OS with a letter describing the issue. Got it back in about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks to the OS Hobby Services they ended up replacing parts in my engine free of charge. They didn't admit there was a case cracking problem which was a little disappointing due to the fact I hear about it all the time it would have been nice to hear them say something about it.

But they did replace...
  • Front Bearing
  • Rear Bearing
  • Crankcase
  • Connecting Rod
  • Piston Retainer

So thatís pretty good. Iím happy, but lack a little confidence in OS's reliability. If this crankcase cracks again I don't think I will buy another OS. The service was goodÖ but no comment on reliability left me questioning the product.

Thanks everyone... GL with your OS engines.

Try the Jammin JPX.21 or the GRP .21. Extremely stout motors.
