Default Dying wheels

I got a deal on white wheels but prefer to run yellow. Will it hurt the integrety of the wheel to put in hot water/dye?

RIT dye and follow the directions.

I've done it in the past with no issues at all.

It wouldn't hurt the rim at all, people do it all the time.
