Which do you have better parts support for? I dont belived that was asked.

THAT, should be the deciding factor. Period. Both are pretty good. I lean a little to the Kyosho side. But thats me..

If your getting the parts off the 'net, its all about what you like looking at more. Since I dont think you have much of a driving style, just shoot for the one you like looking at and that you have the wallet for.

Hope that helps some,

I started this season (my first in 1/8th buggy) with a Hyper 7 then after one race I had broken both stearing knuckles and various other parts. The next week I bought a Kyosho US Sports used from a friend and had no problems the reast of the season untill I bought a 777wc and then handed down the 7.5 to a new driver and it is still in use after about 5 seasons of combined use. So needless to say I'm Kyosho all the way

I Highly suggest you to look at the Picco buggy. You can find it for the same $300 as the hyper 7 but you get a Picco engine which isnt too bad, Jammin Super big bore shocks and it is new which is a big plus. If I were going RTR for $300 this would in my eyes be the only option.

Definitely i will lean towards Kyosho. Moreover the Sports 4 version has been released. The Hyper 7 is not a new design. Besides Hobao has already released several newer models like Hyper 8, 8.5 & even 9! Cheers!
