Have you ever nosed a landing hard and had it fold forward cutting off the air flow? I guess it would depend on the body allowing enough room for that to happen. Hmmm.

I hope this works,.... I'll run it next time and let ya know. Its the Ofna S-tube, Xray housing, RB foam, with the ebay cover holding it all tight. I'm a little worried about heat from the colling head being so close, but its worth a try.

Is it the low profile filter? The ebay mugen style "round" covers work on the proline oval low profile housing. The material is flexible so it will form to most shapes that are roundish in shape. The Losi style one id a tube shape, and the AE one is a large oval shape.

Should be in stock here:

i ran the outerwear prefilter earlier this year loved the filter aspect of it but because of the room in my rc8 it wore a whole in the prefilter just from moving a little back and forth while racing.

Last year I ran the RC8 filter with the ebay prefilter and never had a problem. And tou can use Hyper 8 or rc8 foams. And the prefilter worked great I could run a few weeks just cleaning the prefilter but I didnt I play it safe.

Yeah I don't think it's a large issue that it touches, here is how I ran mine all season. Sometimes I wrapped it, sometimes not:

Should fit, just cinch it closed at the ends so it stretches nicely over the whole housing.

I didnt know the hyper 8 had the same size housing as the RC8..? Does the foam fit perfect or just ok? I've been wanting to try a low pro setup so it fits better under the body. hmmm
