just purchased a axe 25 truggy motor and the crankcase is stamped 21 WHAT DA F... ! have axe decided to have a 25 with a bored out 21 crankcase ??? anyone got a axe 25 and noticed this ????m NOT IMPRESSED im sure at 3.85hp and 43000 rpm it will impress me but straight out of the box with 21 stamped on case when its a 25 same block as the cobra 21 dosent make sense

More then likely the difference is in the crank and connecting rod to give the additional CC, like a stroked engine!

the axe cobra 21 was a long stroke 21 axe have just upped the bore to bring it in line with other engines,i think it will be a demon so keep us informed mate

i got one of these engines and when the head is at the top of the sleeve it gets jammed it was like it out of the box, any suggestions as to what i do?

It's not a stroked 21, It's a bored one, the Cobra 21 originally has an extra long stroke of 17.4mm, the diference is the bore, Cobra is 16.0mm, just like an OS .18TZ, and this engine's bore is 17mm (they say) upping the displacement to .24, not .25 as they say, the rod is the same length as the Cobra 21's too, 29.5mm. Rods don't change displacement, only timming.
Have fun, these engines are STRONG! and thay last, just have a look at the rod after your mains or if you have the money put in an R7 from Novarossi, It'll fit right in and It'll be bulletproof.
