RB WS7 & RB C6 fuel economy.
Which is better on fuel the C6 or the WS7...

it would have to be the WS7 because of the nature of the beasts. The C6 is a torque monster.
I have run a bit over a gallon through my C6 L2g and its an animal! I had it in my mbx5r and it was too much. I could race it easy and pick up lots of spots down the straight etc but was balloning my tyres so bad they are completely smooth in the center. of course i could make some setup changes but i got the c6 for a mbx5t.
It was wicked in the buggy when new and tight but on its first really run in tanks after about 2-3L i had it in my mbx5t and its so bloody fast!
I have it running 90-95c after 30min main and the power is huge. If i went to 130c temp like i would like to, i am not sure if i could keep the truggy on the track!
90c got me a 10m 45sec run time in the truggy...
cheers
ps. running in a new ws7 l2g for a mate tomorrow so i can let you know in a week or so but his will be still tight till then...

the ws7iii gets pretty good mileage but from what i have seen the c6's are even better

I would think the WS7 would but not having run both I could not tell you. If you go to the nitro on road forum and then the engine zone sub forum there is a thread for RB engines. Jamie from RB USA might be able to give you a more definite answer.

I am about to go for the C6 and a lot is to do with fuel ecomomy. People i know running C6's are capable of getting 10 minute tanks, some 12 minutes and with carb restricter (Venturi) near the 14 mark.
WS7 is not famed for it's economy, i have managed at most 8 minutes but realistically i have never gone more than 7.30 for a fuel stop.
Curious to follow this thread and peoples experiances...

You'll get far better mileage with the C6.
And if you still need some more you may reduce the ventury.

I run a C6BB7T (turbo plug) in my MBX5T and have allwase been able to get 10 minutes out of a tank.. If i run it dry it will see 12 minutes usualy without a problem and im not the worlds best nitro engine tuner by any chance but i allwase seem to have about the best economy out of the guys i race with that use other engines
Also from what i have seen the non turbo plug C6 will never get as good economy as the turbo one.. just thaught i would mention that as i dont know if you mean turbo plug or not
Another known fact it seems is that you need to run the 2045 pipe as i do if you want the best economy from your C6 whilst still maintaning crisp power
I should also note i have alwase ran the 7mm venturi restrictor that came with the engine.. And it has alwase had plenty of power so i cant see why i would change it

a C6 can get better than a s7 thing is that can change with how much you mash on the throttle LOL. most run time i have off a tank with my less than perfect tuning abilities is 10 min+ when the track was not loomy and a 7mm venturi and i paid attention to trying to get more. my s-7 gets 9 almost all the time. most fast guys with a ws7 usually pit after 8-8.5 min

The c6 is noticeably better with fuel.
Run as small of a venturi as you need to to keep it manageable, and run an extra .1mm head shim. You should get close to 10 minutes that way with no driving style changes. You can probably get close to another minute depending on the track and throttle managment.

i actually run a C6 on a regular basis.....and KNOW for a Fact the 2045 compared to Other brand pipes gets left in the dust.....check out a few Dyno sheets with a 2045...ull get it eventually.

Integra is a very opinionated dude but he is not entirely wrong on this one. I would not call the 2045 a power killer, it makes very good smooth usable power with good mileage but if you want even more sheer grunt there are a couple others that will make it really scream.

I have heard if you open up the exhaust p[ort can free up a TON of power too...
Just heard about it cause the stock C6 has way more power than I will ever need! With the 2045 the powerband is almost linear... Smooth from bottom to top end... Awesome combo for me!
