Default MBX5R - Best Clutch Setup

Hello,
I need to replace my clutch shoes, springs, and bell. Could any of you that have run the MBX5R for any length of time give me a couple ideas of what to buy as far as brands and sizes go (longest lasting especially)? I am currently running the stock .21 motor that comes with the Turmoil Pro, called a V2 (not the best I know, but seems to do pretty good against the big expensive ones). Thanks in advance.

M2C set-up would be imo one of the longest lasting clutch set-ups on the market.

M2C set-up? Sorry, but what exactly are you talking about. What brand of shoes, carbon/alum., springs, size bell, ? Sorry to be dumb on the topic, I just don't know what you are referring to. Thanks!

Try the Trinity x3 clutch. Like the Fiorino vario but cheaper. And it comes with a clutch bell! Full setup.

Nothing wrong with the stock mugen set up, Try the carbon shoes with 1.0 springs. I tryed the max life shoes as well but was not happy how the fit the flywheel. They did fit much better on the jammin flywheel.

+1, except the Racers Edge vented bell doesn't wear as fast... IF you can find it. Sorry, don't know where it is in stock currently.

the carbon's round out sooo fast imo....i honestly dont know how guys get them to last over a gallon....from 1 Tank the eyelets were oval'd...and the stock Mugen Alum shoes wear Way too fast compared to other shoes.

I took my xray shoes and springs out at 2.5 gallons and they are still good. Backups now. Last very well IMO.

I'm running the Mugen clutch in my Losi w/carbon and 1.0's on two gallons and "might" be able to squeze out one more gallon. With a V-spec and running M3's, good power and good traction and there fine.
