Default So I drag raced my Go Tech 7 port tonight...

Against my buddy that runs an RC8 with a Dynamite .21xp. We raced in the parking lot at our track about the length of a football field. We got 1 good run WOT and I pulled him pretty much the whole way. Even launched harder but there different buggys so thats not really comparable.

As far as details go, Were both using Byrons 25%. I'm using 11% oil he's using 9%. He has a 7.5mm venturi I have an 8. Temps were both around 210-220. I also had wheel spin in the beginning due to bald tires.

Anyway, just thought some people would like a direct comparison to another engine.

Seriously, why the hate? I wanted to see how my engine stacked up against another high-rpm motor...

Oh I won't do it again Tim... It was risky. At one point we came together and my 8ight got airborne.. Luckily it somehow did a 180 and landed on its wheels. But i thought for sure it was going to cartwheel and shatter on the pavement.

Only risk was running the GO-Tech at WOT...

I think there would be more of an issue running a SH built dynamite engine at WOT than a Go tech. Then again I have yet to see the brand of engine that hasnt had a premature failer.
Nothing Like pulling a $400 engine out of the box and having it throw a rod or bearing.
Why does it seem RC attracks some of the most childish, Biased people around?
