Well it is not a racer but you still want quality so the best medium for me would be the LRP .28 spec 3, or the Picco P3 .28. Both of them come in pullstarts and can be adapted to roto start and are very powerful and will last. And last but not least both a little under $200. And if you decided to race these 2 mills will not dissapoint you. When you install which ever 1 use aluminum clutch shoes and 1.1 springs.

+1 for the LRP .28 spec 3. for a 170$ engine that thing is ridiculous.

Mine only lasted 4 gallons...but I was very very hard on it, now somethig inside (cant remember what) needs to be replaced, and it would be cheaper to just buy a new LRP .28.

http://cgi.ebay.com/LRP-32802-VTEC-Z...713.m153.l1262

thats where I get them from.

9$ shipping to USA is reasonable, but im in canada, so shipping is 19$ its still a good deal.

IMO a P3 would walk all over a LRP....the p3's got way more top end...and in a savage...u need more top then bottom......the gearing does that for u already.
