Default Engine shuting off

Dear All,

I got 1 question for you guys and I hopefully read solutions for it.

1. Whenever I see a buggy overturned over a jump on a track it shuts off after 4-5 seconds. Is this normal?

Unless it has a "clunk" like Losi it runs out of fuel.

Do you have an external fuel filter installed? External fuel filter not only filter your fuel, it will extend the time before the engine shut off when your car overturned.

I do not have a fuel filter installed. I hope it has nothing to do with the small fuel line from tank to carburetor.

well im afraid it does. grab yourself some more fuel line and some inline filters and all should be good.

You don't need a losi tank to remain running if your upside down. A well tuned engine should be able to run about 30 seconds after letting the fuel flow away from your pick up. the losi on the other hand does give you an advantage, you can run a whole tank of fuel upside down.

The best way to solve this problem is to get some mad skills and never flip upside down!

Problem solved guys. Long fuel line from the tank to the carburetor and fuel fuel were the missing element.

In the fuel tank the pick up is on the bottom. Flip it over fuel goes bye-bye and you have to rely on whats in the lines before it gets back on all fours.
