Default M2C Racing Outer Hinge Pin Kit for Losi 8

Hey guys wonder if you have had experience with this. I got my M2C hinge pin kit, drilled out the hub carrier and arm with supplied drill and put the pin in to find that it's almost 3/8" too long. I suspect maybe they gave me the wrong hinge pins!? I bought the kit from A-Main, and the picture on A-Main shows the pins with 2, nuts and the washers. My kit came with 4-Nuts (two locking nut, 2 non) and the pins don't look the same as in the picture. Problem is I have a big race this weekend and I already drilled out the arms and carrier. Good thing I have a spar set of arms and carriers. Check out the picture and tell me what you think. i'm pretty sure they sent the wrong pins. Thanks

if you want you can always use a hinge pin. (if you have spares) cut them to the length needed with just a little left on each side so you can put a collar on each side (like used in airplane equipment). I have been using this setup on the rear for a long time, and have not had any problems. with this setup you will then be ok with your 5/32 drill holes... then get the right ones from a-main.... or just send them back and use this setup.

let me know if you would like to see pictures.

This is a little late, but you should have just bought the Lunsford TI hinge pins for the carriers.

And yes thats too long...

Hum ok I paid 11.99 for my Lunsford Titanium Hinge Pins "Cheaper than M2c" and they fit..

On a side note I've bought alot of Lunsford stuff and it's NEVER worn out or broke.
