Default Mixing Tires and Wheels

Can a ProLine 23mm LPR Tire fit on a ProLine 23mm 40 Series Wheel (White Spokes)???

How much wider? Will the sidewall be reduced by alot? This is my only option if i can race the Pro Series this weekend, just viewing my options.

from tower hobbies

40 rims are 86.6mm wide
LPR rims are 57mm wide

JEEZE!!! You think ill be able to get away with the 10+mm differnce for the RC Pro Race? I just wanna say i raced in the Pro Series. Iam not even looking to make the C-Main, just wanna get out and live the experience.

what are you driving that has 23mm hubs?

My modified DuraTrax Thunder Quake that i race in the Monster Truck Class.

the 29mm difference isnt the offset...

the rim itself is that much wider than a LPR tire would be.

You could dremel them off, or cut with a hacksaw or something... better do a REALLY good job of glueing if you do that!
