the brawl for it all!
Man this is going to be an event to remember. $4000.00 cash race. $1000.00 per class paid between the top 3 in each class. The race is being held at TCRC in WVA. There website is www.tcrcracing.com. The event is posted on www.rcsignup.com. If you don't have anything planned for Aug 22-24, then I would check it out.

You guys said that the money was set aside but this is what you posted on RCsignups.com.
Up to $4000 pay out!!! Every class with a minimum of 50 entries will receive a $1000 purse
Doesn't sound like the same info. So how is it really going down. We took 16 buggies to King from Beckley. We could do the same for Huntington but it seems like there is some conflicting info.

I think it's a $4,000 purse for the whole event..
Each of the 4 classes being raced in, if they have over 50 entrants, it's a guaranteed $1,000 for the winner of the A-Main in the single class..
1/8th scale buggy,
1/10th scale truck??
And I'm guessing if they don't make the entrant amount of 50, they will deduct however much is necessary, but if for $1,000 to win for a class, I'd go if I had money for my Radio already

Makes sense... 40% of entry fees paid back out up to $1000 per class (50 entries). Still confused though... is it Winner takes all, top 3 split the purse, or something else?

What it does is keep people from traveling any distance because there is no guarantee, but also makes the organizers sound bigger time than they are for suggesting a large purse when in reality there could be none......... if you know what I mean.
No offense to the organizers, but the words "Up To" puts a whole different spin on things.
