Time for a new R/C
I am looking for a new R/C. This vehicle will be used for backyard bashing, and maybe if I have time I'll take it to a track (but I don't count on that). I had a Thunderquake monster truck for a while and I did like it. I am open to Buggy's, Truggy's or Monster Trucks. I am not interested in spending a lot of money, less than $375 preferrably. I have looked at a few buggy's and liked that the head stuck out of the body. I believe I have seen truggy's do the same thing.
So far I have looked at the Redcat Racing Hurricane, Redcat Racing Monsoon, Duratrax Raze and Ofna Hyper 7. I'm sure there are more options out there, but I did like the looks of these vehicles.
I have a few McCoy MC8 plugs, so if these fit the new vehicle that would be great.
Requirements
4WD
off road ability
Plus's
2 speed trans
electric start
ability to run 20% (since I have a half a gallon of it)

slayer would kill any of those you mentioned in speed and reliability

But the slayer is also a hundred dollars above my target.
One other thing I forgot to mention is reverse is a HUGE plus. I really liked that feature on the Thunderquake.

I may have a couple that aren't on the list yet (I buy/sell/trade all the time).
I just got a T-Maxx 3.3 yesterday that I haven't tuned up yet, but looks great!
Let me know if you see anything of interest.

Out of the ones that you mentioned at the top the OFNA Hyper 7 would be the best handling and probably the most durable. The are also pretty easy to get parts for. I would stay away from the Redcat stuff, the quality isn't nearly as good as the big brands like Traxxas, HPI, Losi, Associated, OFNA, etc.

For $50 more you can get a Savage 4.6. I have two and the reliability on them are second to none. Rotostart and the engine is a beast and easy to tune. Can't go wrong for a basher. I have the traxxas slash and some mentioned the slayer which is nitro. Slayer Truck will be sick but think it will be better for racing. Savage is a pure basher and takes punishment

Those were ones I had already looked at, but was open to suggestions.
