Exclamation New indoor offroad track in Tampa

Hello new to the Forum scene here, I am making a post to let people know myself and a partner are talking with a building owner in the Tampa area (301 & 60) on the use of a 14k. + sq. ft. building for a 70x160 offroad track. It will have indoor and out door pits w/ electric and air, possibly on sight Hobby shop and Food. Fees would be comparible to local tracks and we would offer during the week practice / track use. We have been racing rc in central florida since '83 and think that a indoor track would really be something, out of the sun and NO MORE RAINOUTS day or night racing electric and nitro. I would really like some thoughts on what people think and their interest in something like this. Thanks

2v- I am more then positive that you could get a bid into Luther over at FSORS for a state race both electric and nitro. Also there is a ton of fast factory drivers that would love to run at a well maintained indoor track during the rainy season. Billy Easton just moved to Tampa. Check out fsors.com

I really hope this works out. Fl needs an indoor track, I wish it were a little closer to Jax, but I will make the trip for certain!!!

Hey 2V, Indoor sounds great, the biggest issue ive seen and heard of is venting for gas, not so much gas trucks as 1/8 scale vehicle's. I think a Great indoor facility is long overdue, so i hope it comes together..Remember, you can never plase eevryone, and you will always have people complain about something, But also remember, if you build it, They will come, so will I.. Best of Luck..
