Try richening it up. As the fuel level goes down the pressure decreases and leans out the mixture.

At a 1/2 of a tank it dies? I would be willing to bet that your tank is broken. Might want to give that a look over.

+1 Happened to me a few times this race season already on our moto cross style track. Also check your fuel lines, may have a hole somewhere but I would almost bet the tank is either broke or the lid is not sealing properly.

You dont have to worry about that any more. No more moto cross style track.

Very true but also very uncommon for Rev to not have one big jump in there somewhere. maybe I can smoke some laps in with my mini now. I could make the triple with the mini but one bad landing and it was over.

Yea, the new layout is almost exactly like an onroad layout they had years ago. Just with some bumps and dirt of course. They want to get more 1/10 gas truck business is what I heard.

I will be out there this Saturday to race.

I'll be there on Saturday but not to race. We'll be out Sunday to get in a full day of practice.

Default RC8??

You wouldn't happen to be running an Associated RC8, would you? The first run of gas tanks were having issues with leaks and cracking. They have since changed to a tougher plastic and having no more issues....

Here is a link to one of the threads on the AE forums website (Associated Official Forum) discussing this issue...

Default 8ight?

If it is an 8ight B/T, the filter at the end of the fuel line in the tank can get stuck on the partition inside of the tank, causing it to point straight up and starve it of fuel..........just shorten it up a little

if your tank and fuel/presure lines are ok, does your motor have any compression left? when the motor gets low on compression your fuel presure will drop making the motor harder to keep running.

Default ok

this is going to sound crazy but put a small fuel filter on the pipe line that goes to the top of the gas tank. that should do it.
