Thumbs up

I have ran a lot of different pipes and headers with these engines. I found the RB 2045 did not allow the engine to breath right and it choked the bottom end. The 053 ran well but it lacked on fuel milage and the RB 2020 was the same. This engine did not push the toned down pipes (JP-3, OS 2050...) so well.
My favorite ended up being the JP-2 with a medium (stock) header. It gave the best fuel milage with all around good power. It loved the idle and tune on this pipe as well.
The most power was the JP-1.
I have not tried the JP-4 yet.
Hope this helps,
TEX

You will also find that tunning will play a huge part in the engine performance, I used to run my engines with the fat bottum, leaner top theory a lot of people have on rb's and although it runs fine, when i re-tuned per RB's faq section, my motor really came alive and the mileage was Great...

yes, very happy with mine. jp-4, odo99 plug, maxy's 30% and it likes to run in the 240's. very crisp there. give it a gallon or so before you tune to max performance and you will be amazed.
