Maximo, wait till you see the fully modded version from EB Mods. OMG it smooths out the bottom and gains A LOT of mid & top. It's just sick!
I'll be running the fully modded version in my SX8 buggy this Sunday.. I'll try to get some video to post.

After I modded it my CL7B is extremely sick...So I can definitely see the potential this lineage of engine are capable of.... My next engine will be the Extech ...

Have your LHS call or Email Chad Phillips at Trinity. His email is in one of his posts on page 1 of this thread. Good Luck!

Maximo, I'm very glad to hear that your next mill will be an EX Tech.

I love seeing that the motor has its own unique case design, I can now clearly see that it is its own unique engine and not just another rebadge like I had originally assumed.... I must say these Sirio carbs are extremely good, so I can definitely appreciate this new motor and I look forward to buying it..... I appologize for being such a jerk earlier, I spoke my bit based off a photoshoped picture( definitely my bad)

Default EB Mod Ex Tech .21

Ran two tanks through mine today. Other problems prevented more time.
I'm running a P4 with the W 2013. I think I'm gonna marry this engine!
LMAO. I hope to get more practice tomorrow, depending on work, then
big one day race on Sun.Engine was very snappy on the bottom even with
a relatively soft clutch. It would sit n idle for ten seconds or more
and not load up. Top was obviously not would it could be, but it was
still making great power. The thing that impressed me most so far
was...long story short, I ended up on my lid. By the time I got off
the stand and to the bug, at least a minute had passed. I also took my
time walking to it, figuring it would flame before I reached it. As I
got within about ten feet or so, I could here it, burbling, purring
like a little kitten

Dynamite 086. I dont like bruttle bottom. Should spool up nice. Good to be part of the team. Actually I couldn't decide so I bought the RB to run until my team motor comes from Trinity.

was that not due to a stinger filled with dirt? all i know is i am not the greatest engine tuner by ANYMEANS and i never had an engine flame out during a race with either RB engine i have, and that is with a slow filling pit man to boot lol

In my opinion I would say buy the RB, you cant go wrong with any of their motors! I have 2 and love them both (C6 and S3), but my favorite is the C6! Lotsa balls and damn good runtime too!

Default NR man is curious

Just bought my NR 21-5KT, and the 086 pipe. I have not had the time to break in the motor and am still using my P5X. Now you guy got me thinking about trying this extech. I do not even know what my NR will do and I am I have been hit by the marketing bug. Well once the P5 get thrown out I will need a second. So maybe later in the year.
