Default O.S. Speed 21VZ-B V-spec Aluminum or Magnesium

I am going to get a new engine along with my xb808 and don't know whether to get the Aluminum or magnesium version of the OS speed 21VZ-B V-spec. I have read somewhere that the magnesium can be a bit more fiddly with the settings, but from what i can tell it should be easier as it has a 2 needle carb, opposed to the aluminum's 3 needle carb. I'm confused with the differences between these two engines and which one is "better". Can people enlighten me on the pros and cons of these two engine and experiences....please.....

Even if it does have a mid needle you never touch it, so they are still 2 needle tuning wise.
