Default Losi 8ight RTR Pipe recommendations

My stock pipe on my 8ight RTR is broken around the stinger. Now I'm rather new to this still so would appreciate input. Call the hobby store where I purchased the car to purchase stock one but he doesn't carry. He recommended a one can't remember mfg but had a re-enforced stinger. Now what would be a good match to the motor and will I have to re-tune my motor after.

The Jammin pipes have reinforced stingers. It just depends on what you want (Bottom end, Mid Range, Top End, etc.)

i would like a mid-range pipe. that would be most useful at my track.

a JP-3 or a Dynamite 053 should do the trick!

The pipe my hobby shop is recommending is a Go EFRA 2047 pipe. Will this be a good match to my 427. Future plans are to get a Go 3 port R spec engine.

What effect will the cracked stinger have on performance if I want to run my car? Just wanted to test my new servos when I noticed the stinger was bent and tried to straighten and it cracked/opened around the stinger base.

What ever you choose, DON'T get a pipe to enhance the bottom end. The Mach 427 makes TONS of torque. So you will want to focus the tuning more on mid-top end performance. Seriously. With the Mach and a low-mid pipe the buggy will just unload the tires every time. Even with the soft black clutch springs and soft aluminum shoes/or carbon shoes, the engine makes enough torque to overpower everything. That engine just flat rips.

So try to focus the tune more on mid-top. Your tires and wallet will thank you later. LOL.

You cannot go wrong with a Jammin jp3. The sound is insane. Makes you feel the power of the rc beast.
