LiPo Batteries.......HELP Please

Hi all,

Just looking at converting my starter box to 14.8v with the use of a LiPo pack.

Question is, can you join two 7.4v packs together to get the 14.8 required?

Thanks

lipo

if ur using the lipo's that take the plug in bullet plug type plug this will be simple, not sure what other packs have for plugs... what u do is on one pack plug to the minus plug, then plug that same wire into the pos. side of the other pack. with this done u will have 2 remaining plugs 1 + an one - just add whatever plug u want an u will have 14.8v....if ur not sure what ur doing check with your LHS or a auto repair,as this will have devastating effect if u make a mistake..better to be safe than blind or severly burned.. good luck

Sure... it's a simple series connection, and you can even buy pre made "Y" adapters to do this kind of thing.

Red wire from one pack connects to the black wire from the other pack. Then the remaining red and black are your 14.8v wires.

This is what it looks like with Deans plugs:
