No adds needed...the Picco P3/JPX/drake.28 when modded is By far the Highest Dyno'd motor in existance...and there are charts to prove it.

The O.S. .28 is the strongest that I have seen, The RB 928 is pretty damn wicked also.

It basically depends on what brand you want your motor to be based off of. I have ran most of the engines out there and they have all been decent and make great power, but they all have their querks too. If you like Picco based motors, the P3-28, Jammin JPX .28 and the Trinity .28 are of the same design. If you are a Rossi fan, Nova, Top and Rex offer the 528 and the new line of .28's look decent as well. RB is a Nova based design and the 928 is good as well. OS offers the new 28XZ and from what I've seen it is pretty fast and then you have the lower priced .26-.28's that I have modded and have been very competative such as the Sportwerks .26, Mach .26 and .28, Platinum .28 and LRP .28 Spec3 which are all SH based. Again, it all comes down to what your budget allows and what brand you like as a whole.

I have always run Picco and Novarossi based motors and they have treated me well. I am currently running a turbo ported N528XR and it is wicked, runs a cool 208 degrees, gets almost 10 minutes a tank and after 2 gallons and 2 different fuels through it, it still has near new pinch, shows no slop in the rod and is very reliable considering what it makes for power.

I ran Picco P3-28's for the two years prior and they were great engines as well. They had leaky carbs and they had some considerable slop in the rod after a 1/2 gallon but it still held a great tune and ran very strong well into the 6 gallon mark before kicking the rods. I put new rods in them, ran them 2 more gallons and sold them and they were still running strong and still had a little pinch left in them. So if you don't mind the messy motor from the leaky carb and are not afraid of a little slop, the Picco's are great for the money.

The SH motors aren't bad for the money either. I have run a sportwerks .26 and they were very easy to tune, held a tune and ran well into the 5 gallon mark before needing anything so for the money, the SH motors are a pretty good deal as well.

Hope this was of some help for you!!
