Default Workstations

I've been asked about my workstation and stand on some other fourms and at the track so i'm just posting some pics. Please comment and post your own stands or workstations.

The stand works great cause the BOTH of my 1/8th scales fit it perfect. I can spin them around on the stand with out them falling off. Then i can turn them on their sides and put them between the 4 posts on top of the stand and it holds them there to work on the bottom of the buggys. The stand is just storage shelving from Home Depot with peg board and a light screwd to it. I painted the shelves in enamel paint to help resist the nitro and grease. If anyone has any questions on how i build either just PM it be no problem.

The 8ight was an RTR now a PRO. 2 Hitec 645mg servos, front, rear, and upper aluminum braces, HD brakes, Proline HardDrive body painted Royal Purple and Sliver, Himoto High Downforce wing, and a Hyper .21 8-port Race.

I got tired of having all my stuff over like 3 table so i decided to not buy a lot of things that i wanted for my RCs and instead bought all that was needed to build the stand. It looks a lot better in the pics than in real life LOL. I hope that this can give some other guys ideas on how workstations to what they want/need.

I wish I had a room to do something like that...

oh btw, put a lock, chain, alarm system, dead bolt, electrical fence, buy a dog, buy a ninja, buy a pissed off midget, and sleep in that room.

it would be a hsame if you got hit and everything got stolen... I know a few people who kept everything together, had a nice setup and got hit for like $20K+ in r/c stuff.

snowdins
i got a few questions for you.
1.) the craftsman toolbox is that for RC or not? and if so do you take it to the track?
2.) your 8ight starter box what type of battery do you use for it?
3.) your laptop is it an HP? AND how the hell do you keep it from falling off?

I've have yet to race at a track, but my first time will be this weekend at Santa Barabara. Anyways the craftsman is not all for RC but does have a lot of tools I use for my RC. The yellow/grey box kind of next to it is what I take with me when I take my car out to parks.

I use a 12v gel cell for the starter box. I hate that box. The cabling it comes with are all to short, the plates on top are sloppy as hell, and the charging ports are complete crap.

The laptop is a HP. If you look closely I have 2 nails in the front of it holding it from slipping off.
