Default CMB Mac Engine Q's

I'm going to buy a Mac .21 engine from a buddy, he traded it months ago for something else but he never got to start the engine, I have some questions, what glow plugs are good for this engine? and what pipes?

thanks.

I suppose it is, it's the one with the gray head, he didn't mention anything about mods so I suppose it's stock, unless they come factory modded.

this is the only pic I found on the net:

Thats the one, beautiful motor, if you can find a aftermarket head for it that would be advisable to get, they have same stud pattern as a 6 bolt nova head.
You might even want to try a 12th clutch bell to give the motor more bottom end power, their will still be plenty of top end. Pipe i am pretty sure it was a Ofna 053 pipe..I still have both of my motors ...

Cheers Paul.....

awesome! yeah the head is not very attractive , I did try it for a few tanks and it had endless top end power, and it was good on bottom, I think i'm going to use a JP-3 pipe on it. What do you think of RB #6 glow plugs? I have some, thanks for the info Paul

Not sure on the RB plugs , I think i started with OS , the factory recommended the Mc Coy plugs and all was good from their on .....some people had issues with carby and changed to a Nova carb , I had never had a problem with the standard carb.....
