All pipes will eventually look "not pretty". Paint, lexan, gas cooking on it with some dirt will eventually happen.

Now there is a difference between "grundgy" and "used" looking. What I've seen is people that don't clean their equipment, even between rounds, worn gaskets that allows exhaust "liquids" to ooze onto the pipe and bake on.

do you have to let a chrome pipe cool more that a hard coated pipe after a hard few runs?

+1 on the RB 2045
Its pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for!
Anything above the 3 port in the RB line are made for the 2045 pipe.
I have one on my C6 and its rock solid!
SO rock solid it blew the HELL outa my brand new Losi "heavy duty" center diff!!!

i have ran the 2045 and the jp-3... i have now gone back to the 2045. the motor seemed o run alot better and more consistently with the 2045.
