Welcome to the addiction...I mean hobby. If you have never owned or operated a nitro car, my advice is to be patcient. Take your time breaking in the engine and make small adjustments when tuning. Most noobies, myself included, can not wait to get the car running and go full throttle to see how fast the car goes when the engine hasn't even finished a proper break-in procedure. Just take your time and if you need help the people on this forum are here for you. Good luck and have fun.

I agree with that 100%! Be patient! Listen, learn, and don't be afraid to ask if you are unsure.

Welcome aboard! You headed in the right direction already. You got an awesome car. That car doesn't really need any mods. As you get more experienced you may want to change a thing or two, but the RC8 is race car bred so your in good hands. Are you going to race or bash around?

Congratulations!

want to race but want to learn the car first, still have not got this thing started. Don't know whats wrong, could it be the glow plug? I pulled it out and attached the starter to it, it warms but not really hot. Is that normal. Also any tips for breaking it in?
