losi 8 diff question**HELP**
i just took apart the rear diff in my buggy so i could change diff oil, clean, and install new bearings. And when i reassembled everything in noticed that the ring to pinion mesh is pretty tight. when i pulled everything apart there were no shims or anything for alignment. im not sure what to do, shims or what. any help would be great as usual as i gonna do the same to the front and would like to remedy this problem so i don't have to pull it a part multiple times. Thanks a million!!!

hey mike theres a few things you can check,
#1 make sure that you haven't over tightened the gear box
#2 check that the rear bearing inserts are seated properly some times they rotate a little and can cause some problems.
#3 make sure that the pinion and coupler are tight and that there is no play
#4 did you also use a new gasket when you did the rebuild if not you should try replacing that, if you did check that the ring gear isn't over tightened causing the gasket to flatten out too much
hope that helps
