Thanks for turning my thread into an argument about nothing. I am a racer at heart, and I know how to take care of my stuff. I did buy these buggies for bashing, and the occasional racing. All my previous experience has been with 1/10 and 1/12 scale on and off road mod electric gear. I am new to the whole nitro thing, was just trying to see which parts needed more caring after. Is there maybe a place I can link to for basics about nitro cars and caring for them? I did some google searches, but didn't really get any in depth techy stuff.

doing this will also give you more understanding on where to look if problems happen...
you should be able to find the pdf. manual for that buggy with google! if you didnt receive it when you purchased the car.

Check out www.nitrohouse.com they have a lot of basic info on shocks, clutches and general tweaks!

I recommend sitting down, tearing the car apart and making it smooth as if was a 1/10th scale. But as long as you keep a fresh air filter, after run oil in the motor, a charged receiver pack and a throttle return spring you should be ready for racing and or bashing!

If there is anything I can do to help just shoot me a pm. Good luck
