Myself and close to a dozen local racers all use the Byron's Gen 2, and we're all having nothing but great luck with it. I honestly haven't heard of anyone having problems running the Gen 2. Where have you seen guys claiming they are having problems??

I have a 12 gallon old Ninja in my truggy, and it's seen over 4 gallons of the Gen 2 (and I run the Pro Blend with only 9% oils), and other than having one of the fastest engines on the track (not a complaint from me, but from my competition) I've not had any issues at all...

If you do encounter issues, then call up Bobby at Byrons and I'm sure she'll take care of you...

Have Fun...Burn Nitro...

I also run Gen 2 fuel and have no complaints. It's probably the best fuel I put through my motors to date. When switching fuels you will most likely have to retune your engine.

We have been running byrons for the last few weeks and have only seen improvments.

i personally have not had any problems with the new fuels, but i heard from a good friend of mine who always has his ear to the ground and seems to be a reliable source of info....this i just a feeler thread so i don't junk my Werks motor. It would shut my racing down for a while if i had to buy another motor....just precautionary any info is good to know..

I adjust everytime it's put down, I was just keeping it simple in my last post.

i guess that Byrons makes 2 gen 2 fuels...normal fuel with 12%oil and freak fuel with 8%or 9% oil so that might be the difference

Gen 2 comes in 11 and 9 % oil. I believe it does still have castor in it just at a different ratio of castor to synthetic. Not 100% sure though. I just finished burning my first gallon of it and have seen no problems so far.

From Byron's website:

RACE Gen2 fuels (Except RTR20 Gen2 and RTR33 Gen2) are blended with a 50:50 ratio of synthetic to castor.

I run the Gen 2 25% and I like it alot and so does my engine. I used to run a different brand of 30% and the Gen 2 seems like it has more pep to it and the oil build up in my fuel tank and all that is no more.
