Yea the first kits were pretty much sold out as soon as they came in from backorders. I beleive the second shipment went out and sold out fast also, but the third shipment should be going out soon if it hasnt already.

Just my luck I am waiting on a car that is sold out before it even gets at my local hobby shop

Everything I have read about it on here and elsewhere has been good. I am just excited to see the review that those two do on it. they are usually unbiased but I doubt there will be anything wrong with it at all.

Another shipment of 808's arrived to RC America last Thursday with some of the new CNC aftermarket parts too. If your looking for one (808) you better have your shop place an order soon. They are becoming very popular, very fast.

I've have had two on order for three weeks now, and they are currently being ship to my local hobby shop.

i was Very dissapointed in how IDENTICAL the 808 was to my 8ight....even a previous Xray driver took at Detailed look at it beside our 8ights...and they are Freeeekin identicall....tower's...arms.....shock position's....the only thing thats different is all the plastic instead of the alum and the radio tray is different...but other then that it was basically the same....i wheel'd it on the track for a lap or 2...and in all out reality...i didnt feel much different...but then again i dont have a HARD pack smoooth as glass track to test on either.

I got my eight last summer and only "ONCE" did it break out of a race, and I raced every weekend. I like the 808 but I'll stick with my Losi.

Steve, would you recommend the aluminum suspension holders for more setup options . I don't know of anybody who has them yet . However they look very functional .

+1

I do like the more rigid plastics that the 808 uses, hopefully the arms wont bow over time as bad as the 8ight. As far as driving, it is a totally different experience IMO, but then again, that can come down to setup.
