Default pics of my 6 year old son's xxx-NT tearing it up

We just finished building a pretty decent backyard track and now my 6 year old son wants to burn nitro every day! How great is that?

He can fuel and start the car himself - I think I've created a monster!

Here's the track:

And here's a few shots of my kid's car, with him driving:

I just thought these were worth sharing

It's not only an awesome thing for one to have the luxury of their very own offroad track in the backyard, but for a father and son to enjoy the hobby together. Don't have a dad in my life...but oh well. You both are very lucky.

Thats so good to see.

I wish my Dad came racing with me. He was right into R/C in his early times.

Well I can thank him for getting me into it. He past away 18 yrs ago.

That is awesome, Dad! My son started racing electric stadium when he was 5, ran a XXX-NT when he was 6, and this year he is running a Losi 8ight Truggy I started when he did and he can't quite keep up with me yet, but his learning curve is quicker and pretty soon, I will hang up my radio and just wrench for him. I wish my yard was bigger - I have to drive 30 minutes to the track!!!

I am proud of you - keep up the great work!
Jeremy

I use to drive an 1hr30mins (110 miles) to race. With todays prices of gas and rise in tolls I changed to offroad which is only 35-40 mins away. Less traffic, no tolls, and more amenities available at the track.
